Each year we organize holiday weeks for children and adolescents from Escola de Capoeira Berimbau de Ouro, situated in the suburbs of Montes Claros. Most of them never travel and seldom experience nature.

In those holiday weeks they learn about nature and how to preserve it, they help on the farm and meet other young people (often from other parts of the town and from Europe) participating in the project.

In 2009 for the fifth time the Colibri-holidays will be organized.
